Where can I find tutorials for the app?
What does it mean to “Check In”?
When you check in your location is shared with your friends and they can view your location by clicking on the My Friend icon.

When you check out your position is kept private and cannot be viewed by anyone.

How can I “Check Out” from inside the app.
Click on the User icon and select My Account, at the top you will see an indicator that is green and says Checked In. Slide the slider next to Checked In to the left, the indicator will turn Red and read Do Not Disturb. Your location is now private.

Why is the Explorer map only showing me a few locations.
By default, the search radius of the map is set to .5 miles, to increase the search radius slid the milage slider to the right. You can search any location up to 5 miles from your position.

How do I use the filter function?
In Explorer you can filter the type of location you are looking for by clicking on the black filter icon on the top right above the map.

How do I review a location?
From the Explorer page select a location you want to review by clicking on a black pin. When the detail page opens you will see a red “Review it” button, click it and fill out the review page.

What is List?
In Explorer you have the option to view your search results either in Map or List views. The list view ranks locations starting from the closest to furthest from you.

How do I call for a ride?
From the Explorer page you can call for an Uber, Lyft or Door Dash. Switch from Map to List view, to the right of each location listed you will find icons for each service.

What if the location I want to visit doesn’t have a black pin?
In Explorer under Map view navigate to the location you’re interested in and click on it’s name. A small window will then open giving you more information and allowing you to review it by clicking on the red button.

How does the EZ Layover Reviews page work?
This page is devoted to only showing EZ Layover Reviews, these reviews only come from EZ Layover members. You can filter these reviews by several different categories, these results can be seen in either Map or List views.

How does the My Friend page work?
When you are on the My Friend page you are able to see any of your friends that are currently Checked in on either the Map or List views. This map will show you all friends within a 50 mile radius from your location. On the List page if your friend is Checked In there will be a green dot next to their picture.

Is EZ Layover always tracking me?
No, EZ Layover doesn’t constantly track your location, when you Check In your location is logged and available for your friends to see. The system only logs your location one time when you Check In, it doesn’t actively track your position. If you wish not to be tracked, then select “Do Not Disturb” when you first login or go to the User page under My Account and slide the slider on the green notification bar to the left.
After 30 minutes you are automatically Checked Out.

EZ Layover uses a scoring system, each user earns points for different actions they perform. This score is shown in the top right corner of each page as a number with an icon next to it. By clicking on this icon, you will be taken to the Scoreboard card. Here you can find a list of the different actions you can get credit for, and you can see how your score stacks up against your friends.

Navigate to the My Friend page, in the upper right corner you will see the “Add” button, click it. There are two ways you can search for people, under the EZ Layover tab you can search for people that may already be EZ Layover users. If they are a member their name will show up below the search bar. If they are not yet a member you can invite them to become a member by switching to the Phone tab. A text message will be created with a link to where the app can be downloaded, the more friends you add the more points you earn!

If you would like to remove the ads from the app, you can subscribe to our Premium Service. In addition to removing the apps you will be entitled to enhanced features as they are released for up to one year.
